Life in Belhaven has always revolved around the water—and it still does. Belhaven's waterfront is a welcome sight for sailboats and yachts emerging from Alligator Alley on the Intracoastal Waterway. Visible from Norfleet Point almost two miles across wide water, Belhaven is a town that literally grew out of the river.
